I committed today and bought the Ski Big 3 pass for Norquay, LL and Sunshine.

Hope the knees hold up!

Good to see the Knob moving ever closer to a new quad and higher summit level.

A very, very busy Sunshine today for a few laps on decent snow, if not skied out in popular sections... but some nice pockets in the trees and lesser known routes.

Lake Louise today for a few hours.

If you can ski off the beaten path there was snow, but it was quite icy on the main runs.

Thankfully it was very quiet on the hill and you could crush out 10 runs in under 3 hours.

27cm last 24 and 70+ in the last week made for a knee tiring morning at Sunshine today with massive lineups and waits at certain points, but the -24WC drove people inside which made it manageable (unless you wanted a coffee).

-5C and a few cm with light snow all day yesterday at Sunshine. The conditions were just ok due to low visibility up top + flat light, but the snow was fantastic and lines relatively small.

Just curious, how are the glades off Goat doing this year - namely Hell's Kitchen - and how often has Dive been open?

FYI, I do enjoy your Sunshine shots ... this is the first year in over 2 decades where I won't be downhill skiing and at least your shots bring back my memories of Sunshine ... still my favourite hill.

^glades and that run I am less familiar with, but the snow was poor until mid-Feb.

The Dive has been open fairly regularly I believe, but this year has been rough on those areas due to high avalanche risk weather conditions.

I skied Louise today and it was sublime with ~7-10cm new and ideal temps.

THx for that. HK is skiers right of the chair below the traverse (skiers left of WWW - which is never open!) When the snow is nice, it's one of the best glades runs period - similar in feel to Heli High at Pano.

Dive is great, just hate the ski out, especially after burning thighs on the way down.

When the sky and snow are right, Louise truly is.
