nice shots...why is this thread called "end of summer?" i mean we all know that winter is coming, but it's just getting started in the u.s....i wish it was the end of summer!

In Northern Europe fall comes much earlier. Maybe not quite yet, but the cool nights and shorter days are coming very soon.

Also, really like the Birmingham pics. We barely see that town on SSP.

The pics are a year old, as stated in the other thread.

Maybe the title is a bit misleading.

I was there in September and October, 2016.

Great pics. Birmingham is a really underrated city with exciting modern architecture, and Warwick looks really beautiful in a more traditional way, especillay the castle.
As you might have seen I made a thread of Birmingham here as well.

I've been to England for winter travel.. The scenery is beautiful. Unexpectedly, late summer, the time of season is more beautiful than this! I miss England!

More great photos. Who knew Birmingham was so nice! Warwick looks just the same as the last time I was there about 30 years ago. Of course, your photos are far better than mine.
