Edmonton - downtown walk

I didnt take these, they are from "SOYCD"...but they are too good not to post.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Some random pics I took this weekend. So far I'm not sold on the digital experience (hand-held, point-and-shoot Kodak 5.0 megapixal camera). It seems different than using my Nikon system. I'm too versed in f-stops & shutter speeds (I'm an old dog trying to learn new tricks) Anywhooo.....

Stopped at Brewsters to wet my whistle mid-way through the journey. Had great conversation with Richard (one of the regulars?) and Jessica who was working the taps.

There are so many good things about the Edmonton DT area. It's thriving, more people are making their homes there, a nice mix of apartment bldgs. and single family homes, plenty o'trees, new const. galore, a good mix of old and new. Edmonton should be proud of its DT area - it's only getting better!
