I also remember reading that the metal panels would be cataloged and then warehoused somewhere. I don't think there is anything else of architectural significance in or on this building.

Maybe they are saving all that limestone? Those are some pretty large slabs, could be valuable enough to salvage. Would be cool if they reused those materials in the lobby or base. It's a waste to trash perfectly good Indiana limestone.

Hell I'd take some good sized chunks of limestone. I didn't realize that's what the building was made out of.

Both bridge houses at Washington are in serious need of repair. I believe the developer is taking on the restoration of the east bridge house as part of this development.

that's cool to hear. the juxtaposition of a hopefully restored early 20th century bridge house sitting beside this gleaming early 21st century tower will be great.

I think all bridge houses would need massive approval figuring they will eventually re-do the north/south riverwalk down to roosevelt/ chinatown hoepfully.
