This is the 'nati I know from my time there from '95-2000. eclectic, historic and gritty. The shame is that all that great historic fabric is not really taken advantage of, or desired by the people of the metro. If OTR and Clifton Heights were in say, Denver, Seattle or Austin, they would be the absolute most desirable and expensive neighborhood in town. In Cincy they are seeing only spotty revitalization. The other thing is that most of those beautiful rowhouses in the first half of the thread are cheap STUDENT HOUSING for UC. Those bad boys would be worth millions in other cities, in the nati they're torn apart every semester by rotating bands of undergrads.
