I would've come to this thread earlier had I known it was a daily thing. Now I have three daily threads to watch.

Yeah, that Frankfurt picture is bustling with visuals. Looks like a scene from Futurama. (minus the ferris wheel; God I hate ferris wheels!)

Suzhou is one of China's oldest cities (>2500 years). It is especially known for its many Gardens which were constructed during the rule of the Ming dynasty (1368-1644).

I know that the quality isn’t the best because of the reflections and such, but it’s the largest Barcelona panorama I have and it gives a good impression of the city.

Let's pay another visit to Down Under, this time to Brisbane - one of the fastest growing cities in the western world (percentage-wise)

^Where's the flame?

Great pics mate - you sure get around!

The Chinese garden looks wonderful - I really wish we would adopt that culture in Europe - small calm lush garden oasis in the urban areas would be awesome!

Hi R@ptor,

I have a question to you. I went already once to Luxor also, but even visiting Hatsepsut after dead temple near Valley of Kings in West bank, Karnak and Luxor Temple in East Bank of Nile, where is exactly this Ramesseum? I don't remember people talking about this in Luxor... Seeing and searching in web I also not found more info, than only photos. It sounds like Ramses Dead Temple but I really do not find better infos.

Edit: Ok I was looking in Google Earth and I found now the Ramses II Ramesseum Dead Temple near Hatsepsut, too close and I not visited, they took us to a typical shop... unfortunatly. And now I see also in same street a little bit far away the Ramses III dead temple also in West Bank, near irrigation. Maybe next time then... I was wondering, could not be the Hatsepsut an entrance to the Tombs of Valley of Kings with some tunnels under the mountain? It seems to be seeing Google Earth, while both are in same straight direction nearby with only 1 hill dividing both...

You should have went there by your own. Tourist tours usually bypass most of the temples and just visit Hatshepsut's Temple and the Valley of the Kings. Just rent a taxi from one temple to the next...it's really cheap. I hope you made it at least to Medinet Habu which was one of my personal highlights of the Westbank....probably after Edfu and Philae the best preserved temple in all of Egypt.
