That picture really highlights the enormous oversized bulk of the mechanical / elevator space on top of the Lee Building, and makes me think it looked better with the giant billboard hiding it. I still think the city should have allowed it to stay. Can't believe I'm defending 'in your face' advertising like that, but as a way to finance the maintenance of a heritage building, I can support it. The future residents of The Independent probably wouldn't agree with me!
