Main St. E at John St. S development

(Sorry, couldn't find an existing thread for this)

Today I saw that the hoardings have been removed at this site. It's next to Lordly Jones Office Furniture, at the corner. There is excavation seemingly underway.

What will be constructed? It's been a vacant lot for a long time.

Thanks.

This is the correct thread the site is for the Hamilton Grand and you should be able to find some renderings on it a couple of pages back.

Hey Thomas! How are you? Sorry everyone for the lack of my updates on here. just been busy with work and life. I do always read your updates - Thomas and all, thanks for your continuous updates of the cities' development happenings! If if weren't for ya'll I'd never know what happening!

I'm so excited to hear the details about the Hamilton Grand - that location has been begging for development for a long time. Do any of you have a final design plan? I know it's changed several times in the past while.

thanks!!

Thanks for the images! This looks pretty decent actually! I like it better than the ideas they had announced previously. I think a look like that would fit in good beside the buildings it next to.

Yeah... that new hoarding is really making that corner a hive of activity. Maybe next year there will be a new hole in the ground.

The sign leaning against Lordly Jones suggests some sort of role for Cambridge's Collaborative Structures Limited. The hoarding is possibly their handiwork.

Perhaps he'll have the hoarding painted with some signage... by Christmas?

I'm sure I'm not the only one that would really love to see this thing completed. It would be a great addition to the downtown core.

What would those positive constructive comments consist of? Unless you believe in magical thinking, comments posted here have zero impact on the project.
