The core and the foundations of any supertall(and megatall) must be mounted to the bedrock for overall stability. It's not always necessary or feasible because the Bedrock may be as far as 300 feet beneath the excavation site, but in order to maintain structural integrity that's the strongest way possible.

That looks nice. Anyone know what the roof height is vs the spire (antenna?) height?

I was also wondering.
In the previous version of the design, the spire was not centered. I liked it better.
It's surprising how little we know about this building.

Roof Height : 420.6m
Spire Height : 510.1m

Looks great! Interesting though how the large scale of the podium building gives the illusion that this building is not as tall as it really will be.

I agree. I'm not really fond of those big shopping mall.

The location seems fine... but I wish another tall one was built across the river. They would form a gigantic gateway
