That was terrible. I know it was trying to be funny. I think I was laughing for reasons they didn't intend.

Use of the word 'CHAOS' was pretty silly.

I feel that "chaos" describes Doug Ford quite well. It reminds voters of at least a couple things. The first is when Ford was on Toronto city council and his brother was mayor. Many council meetings became chaotic. And Ford defended his mayor brother at all costs and even after the crack scandal and lost it on a lot of people. The second thing is a reminder of when the PCs were last in power about there was chaos in the public sector with cuts, layoffs and labour unrest.

It's a pre-election campaign ad so the message's attempt is to make voters realize that there is an option that isn't Wynne and isn't Ford. Whether or not it is effective remains to be seen.

I still can't believe she was even allowed to be a PC candidate in the upcoming election. I wonder if she will blame being dropped by the PCs on the party's establishment. She seems better suited for the Trillium Party and maybe she'll now join it.

Considering Dougie won on the third ballot, wasn't it Tanya's supporters that really ended up giving him the win? Ouchers on that one!

I know eh!!

And now Ford is starting to flip-flop and be inconsistent on many things. And the PCs still don't have a platform!! The Liberals and NDP probably have some other embarrassing things that they'll soon release about Ford and PC candidates.

The Liberals are complaining about the "news-style" campaign videos that Doug Ford is doing. They are saying that the PCs are doing political advertising with their self-made media coverage and that they may not be counting it towards campaigning and advertising expenses.

This is a crucial night and more so for the NDP than anyone else. If Horwarth performs well then you will begin to see the `anyone but Ford` vote form. This is similar to the federal vote. Trudeau did quite well in the debates and after Mulcair`s screw ups, the voters consolidated their votes around him. Harper didn`t do badly but the ABC vote is what cost him. The Tories were doing OK in Atlantic Canada and all polls showed they would be about 5 seats primarily in NB but the ABC vote came out in full force and wiped the Tories off the map.

Wynne is highly disliked and people {including many Conservatives} are very leary of a Ford administration. If Horvath can put in a good performance then the ABC vote will congel around her and could easily take the election. The Tories are strong but have absolutely no growth potential while the NDP have the most, benefitting from disenfranchised Liberals, and Green who are scared of what Ford will do to enviornmental and transit plans.

To add to the above...........

The NDP have the greatest growth potential but also benefit from the most solid supporters. Many Liberal voters are eager for change and are waiting for the debate to see if Horwarth is up to the task. The NDP could also, surprisingly, also catch some Tory support. Much of the Tory support is from disenfranchised Liberals who are sick of the corrutpion, vote buying, arrogance, and Wynne herself. They are the `middle ground` voters who always determine elections and many are not classic Tories but rather repugnated Liberals who`s vote was going strongly Conservative until the Tories were stupid enough to vote in Ford so much of the Tory vote is also soft. Many of these `middle ground` voters are very afraid of what Ford will do both politically and personally.

The Green support is ussually very solid up until election day when most plug their noses and vote for another party in order to keep out the most anti-enviornmental party which in this case is Ford. The NDP also benefit from many Tories who don`t want Ford and traditional Liberal supporters who are sick of their party and will thus staying home on election night.

If Horvath performs well tonight, then she could soar in the polls from disenfranchised Liberals, leery Tories, and scared Greens. The centre/centre-left has been waiting to see if Horvath and the NDP are the ones to stop Ford and get rid of Wynne and tonight maybe the night they make their decision.

This says it all that so many will vote for Ford without knowing his platform. Ignorance is bliss.

I promise a $5B for a regional transit system. What does this really buy?
I promise a 4% cut in expenditures but I also promise that no one lose their job. How does this add up?

Hasn't Ford also promised to cancel the carbon cap and trade program? How do we recover that money as well?
I promise $1B for mental health and addiction programs.
I promise a pile of money for better autism programs.
I promise to reduce wait times for hospital treatments.

The Ford program does not appear to be based on reality. Perhaps, he feels he doesn't have to account for anything knowing he is a shoe in for Premier.

Good grief!

I promise two way Go Transit to Niagara Falls
I promise a subway to Scarborough, which will be part of a loop line, presumably back to the Sheppard Subway
I promise the Downtown Relief Line
I promise a Richmond Hill extension
I promise a regional transit system

I promise subways for all

Sound familiar?

I am investing $5B. How much can really be built with that amount? Not much.
