Wow, that looks luxurious! I just wonder if the views will be as open as they make them seem, as the building is not that tall.

Just out of curiosity, are Vancouver condos built to withstand earthquakes? Cause I heard there is an impending 8~9 magnitude earthquake that may destroy the city as we know it.
Kind of worried about that...

Supposedly all newer buildings are earthquake proof. But how much that will help in case of a magnitude 9 quake remains to be seen.

I remember reading that buildings on the reclaimed shoreline in Coal Harbour and parts of Yaletown might suffer more due to the soil, but most of Downtown should be otherwise fine (new buildings). But there will be a lot of glass flying when the quake hits...

I can't wait to experience the feeling of awe and splendour walking thru the arch past the two blank-faced elevator cores!!! Should be an incredibly luxurious once-in-a-lifetime experience!!!

I've got the floor plans for the Expo section...the north "leg". 13 units per floor. 11 x 1br and 2 x 2br. 1br are pretty tight and range from 500-525 sf. The 2br are 762 and 925sf. Will try to save the PDF floorplate as image and upload later

It'll be funny if they pulled a Central and put 15-storey columns to support the center of the arch.

Condord has been uploading some videos. I saw one of these onboard Air Canada flight to Hong Kong.

Is it just me, or does the furniture in the second video look ridiculously tiny? Sure makes the living space look big though...

Word is that they are anticipating a mass migration of hobbits into the Lower Mainland: must be all the greenery here.

One of the oldest tricks in the book on the residential side. Even showrooms have custom furniture that is often about 85% of the normal size.

Isn't that what they call apartment-sized furniture?
