12 East is building with Subway, 8 East is empty lot to the right. Did they mixed up addresses or there is another development at 8 East?

As per ACRIS, Nef closed on its air rights deal with the owners of 15 E 36th St on Jan 6, 2014.

Nef recently seems to have obtained a several million dollars in loans from JPMC on March 27, 2015. I can't open the docs though.

Nice to see Nef making some moves to get this thing going. Per the NYT today, the bid by preservationist to expand NoMad's historic district past 34th street had been rejected by the landmarks commission just this past week, which would have been a major obstacle for some exciting upcoming projects such as this site, 12 East 37th Street, 126 Madison Avenue & the one at 29th Street (Bancroft). All of these are slated to rise plus 700'. I admit however, the Bancroft demo is a tough pill to swallow, but for the most part I trust the current system rather than blindingly protecting every building within the district. I'm looking forward to seeing all of these projects to commence ground breaking in the very near term.
