If anyone has a love of history; this new Comcast Building just made history.
In the span of the last 30 years Philadelphia has seen 4 building capture the mark as the tallest building in the city. Philadelphia's City Hall, Liberty 1, The Comcast Building, and soon the Comcast Innovation and Technology Center. We have seen 3 buildings capture the rank as the cities tallest building in under the span of a decade. We are the first generation of Philadelphians to see this since 1754.

From 1720 the old Philadelphia Court House was the tallest (As seen in Peter Cooper's 1720 panorama). In 1753 Independence Hall took the title as the City's Tallest building only to lose it a year later in 1754 to Christ Church as 2nd in Market.

Point is; all of us who are on here are seeing growth Philadelphia hasn't seen in a very long time.
