Hmm, I can't remember. I thought we were closer to 70-80 cranes during the boom.

Definately in the mid 60's at least.

Does Frink still float around? He erased the 1st page of the old thread that had a note with the record on it. Would be nice to have that stat on the front page of this thread too.

I remember it being in the 70's at the peak of the last boom. Don't believe it hit the 80 mark, but could be wrong.

Looking back at the original cranes thread, it appears that the max was 75.

The Luna crane came down yesterday, and there is a new crane on Barlow north of the Golder building.

Can we confirm if the Barlow crane is for the existing Stantec building? If so I will update the info on it on the first page.

We are now at 30 cranes!

Is this a tower crane? This crane has been at a house u/c on 27 Ave west of 20 St SW for months.

yeah its a tower crane, its known as a city crane. it is small with very little lifting capacity. its sort of one step up from a self erect crane
