I've added four since my vote (Amsterdam, Melbourne, Rome, Munich) in addition to the 12 before. Plus several not on that list.

Well, I guess I'm lucky enough to have clicked on 6+1 check boxes.

Hometown Paris hardly counts. I've know it since I was in a cradle.
NM exotic to me, quite frankly.

I still have to visit the US Midwest, essentially St Louis and Detroit to serve the king.
I take it as a duty to spend money over there.

We'll be good in 2024 here. Last time Paris hosted the universal event was 1924!

A hundred years later, we'll make something comfy of it. Count on us.

Tokyo! You're up this year!

Since voting in this poll in 2011, I have added Tokyo to my travels (2016, 2018, 2019x2).

And today, the IOC officially "crowned" Brisbane as the host for the summer Olympics of 2032.

I'm surprised so few people have been to Seoul.

Tokyo and Los Angeles

I've also been to Squaw, but that doesn't seem to be included in the poll.

It's all messed up... Even locals would not be so happy about hosting the most important event right now, while obviously, they normally would.

This is a difficult time for global events... It is very bad.

I hope everything is fixed for 2024 here in Paris, cause it should be an one-time event in my lifetime.
It should be bigger than the 1998 FIFA World Cup.

The Summer Olympics is simply the biggest event worldwide in usual times.

Indeed, even beyond COVID, the Tokyo games have suffered a string of resignations. This week alone the composer for the opening ceremonies resigned on Monday, and today the creative director for the opening ceremonies resigned after a joke about the Holocaust by him surfaced. And of course earlier this year there was the resignation of the president of the Tokyo Olympic Committee, as well as other resignations in the previous years. The stadium and logo have also had to change.

On the COVID front, if I had it my way, I would have these games cancelled. Truly hoping for 2024 to be a return to normal times.

Oh yeah that's right! I really wish I could add more cities to this poll as well as allow forumers to add to their selections.
