Second that.

Sadly, the days of active Montreal diagram drawers are long gone. We have 1 or 2 left who still give a damn, G.s Montreal being the only one I can name. Which is a shame because other cities are getting all sorts of projects drawn up, even trivial condos.

I'd do it myself but cruelly lack the software and skill.

Considering the size of Montreal, something's bound to happen again, which'll spur more of these additions, etc.
Rico, hope you can get help with doing this.

I don't know if it's a good or bad thing that I brought up a relatively-dead thread, but I stumbled upon a relatively-new project and I wondered if a thread should be made about it.

Le Victoire condominiums
24 stories tall
Status: Pre-construction

There is indeed already a thread on Le Victoire you can find here: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=198648

I guess its hard to find considering the name of the thread hasn't been changed and is still at the moment: Residence Square Victoria

YUP! Don't worry, as soon as you sniff out a new one, jump on it and make a new thread, there'll be plenty of new projects.

Hi! Can you guys please tell me if a thread has already been made for these? I found them on montreal2025.com and I think they're pretty cool... I also haven't seen them around the forums:

1475 Boulevard Rene-Levesque Ouest

Le Rive Gouin III

^ There is no thread on it, although I think it was mentioned somewhere in the main Montreal thread in the Quebec section: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=146803

You're welcome to create a thread for it if you like, and provide us with updates on its construction.

Welcome PEORIA! Where do you hail from? Glad you like our fair city!

For those who are curious, the main Montreal project thread is located in the Quebec forum, thread here: http://skyscraperpage.com/forum/show...wpost&t=146803

Hello MTLskyline,

I'm from Illinois (USA).
I've, always, felt that beautiful Montreal is one of the world's greatest cities. I love it's unabashed, multi-cultural, heritage and historical influences. I was curious as to why IT seemed to ' disappear ' , from the global spotlight, after the Expos left and Toronto's surge into the forefront of Canadian big cities. However, I'm glad to see it's (pardon the showbiz puns) ' making a comeback '!

Peoria, welcome to the forum! I love your comment and thank you for it.
As a born and raised downtown Montrealer , I can offer an explanation for your observation that Montreal disappeared from global radar after the Expo and the summer Olympics, but I won't, as this is not a political forum, and there is no point anyways.
I will say that I love this city, and I, like you, am glad to see at least some construction going on, even if it is still small potatos. You have to learn to crawl before you can run...
All the best to you in Caterpillar-land.

Thanks for the shots Martin! I really like 1250 Greene Avenue. I would love to see similar buildings fill some of the empty lots in Old Montreal.

Wonderful tour Martin, thanks.

Having seen Altitude in person from many angles now, I must say the red bricks were a very wise design choice. They create a kind of layered busy-ness near the street level that I NEVER could have envisioned working out as well as it did. Thought it was a joke at first. It really blends in nicely.
