I don't know if the bay has a specific name, but that's Panmure island provincial park on the bottom.

I spent a day in the area when in P.E.I. and it's quite a beautiful place.

Man this is hard. You have to zoom out far enough that there is some geographic distinction, but not too far that you can just scan Google Earth for something recognizable.

So far only the first one has taken some real guesswork.

That would be Anticosti Island.

I find that smaller scale images tend to give a pretty good sense of the region. The river pattern and topography excluded the west coast, and didn't really seem consistent with the Canadian Shield either. The lack of population suggested the northern part of the prairies, but the type of blue on the water excluded inland lakes except the Great Lakes (a bit of a cheat there I suppose), which I knew it wasn't a part of. That left the east coast. The orientation of the coast line immediately eliminated most parts of the east cost, and it was a matter of checking a few locations that seemed to share that orientation.

Hopefully I have a stumper coming up.

In retrospect, this one shouldn't be too difficult. I was going to only go with the large-scale image, but I figured it would just involve too much work to identify the precise location.

Bonus points if you can identify the interesting recent geological feature on the first photo.

I'm going to guess it's somewhere up north as the lines on the ground indicate permafrost and there is a lack of trees. Aside from that, no idea.
