Facing south towards Kingston hotel. Still excavating.

Facing west, looking at former Whitespot site.

Facing east, looking at intersection of Georgia St and Richards St. You can see pit dug likely for office tower base, but they haven't started rebar or poured it.

Close-up facing east, you can see they poured a small footing for the wall and the rebar that extends upward from the footing.

I walked by today and it is SO noisy there at the moment. I am surprised Hotel Kingston's reviews are not that bad, although everyone does mention the construction going on. Must be hellish to stay there right now!

It is so stupid they didn't buy the whole property and re-build the whole block.

What makes you think they didn't try to buy it but that the owners weren't interested? It would've made the project a lot easier to construct.

It looks like they are motoring full steam ahead, at least on the office tower portion.
