as for the aga and winspear, the parkade you're directed to provides direct access to the both of them (as well as to city hall, the citadel, chancery hall, the library and the westin). there are some provisions in place to also link the ram to churchill station that would also connect to that parkade and the city hall parkade but that's not a current/timely option.
A "thank you" to the RAM for converting a loading zone into four handicap parking stalls near the west entrance. That made all the difference for my handicapped relative that wanted to see RAM.

Is that patio in a secured area or can anyone from the street walk up and sit down?

I love the cafe patio, but dislike the news hours.

Has anyone been of late? Curious to know what attendance is like these days.

I was at the RAM during the Civic Holiday long weekend. Attendance was relatively sparse but I think that was due to the holiday Monday. I will need to go back next month during a normal Saturday or Sunday. I really liked the Breathe and Quilt exhibits. The Abandoned Alberta photos were hard to find until I stumbled across them on the 2nd floor in the free area.

Does anyone have attendance figures or expectations?

I recall 350,000 being the target at one point, but that's obviously changed.

Does anyone have any word on operational funding/program dollars for the RAM?

Pre-COVID during the slash and burn days for each department, I recall this significantly impacting things, including but not limited to:

1. attracting major touring exhibits
2. rental opportunities for the theatre or lobby space
3. planned evening events (think AGA refinery) to attract millennials and different demographics
4. overall hours and promotion

Unsure but knowing this current government, I'm sure they don't have much money to work with. If the NDP get in this spring, that will (hopefully) change.
