My dad’s office used to be in this building! I remember doing some filing for him in the basement, which had the sidewalk prisms... it was very cool to see them from the other side. Tangent time: looking at the other old pics of 21st St from the library’s archives, I think it’d be cool to put the cenotaph back, or have something similarly monumental built, in the middle of the street. Obviously this would only be feasible if the street was turned into a pedestrian corridor... but that could be looked at (the City Centre Plan suggested a linear park along part of 21st). Who knows, could be Saskatoon’s version of La Rambla. (Although I won’t go as far as Atch by suggesting we put a dome over the whole street!)
