Is that the Henri's Bakery project? I stopped by the other day and Henri's had just opened in their new temporary location.

They are building over at the History Center, too. That's going to look great.

Yes, this is the Henri's Bakery project. Henri's actually moved to their permanent location in Andrews Square this week.

I work for Perennial, so that's how I saw it. I can't upload it.

Well damn! Looking forward to seeing the new design. Taller? Similar style? Any details you can share? Let us know when it's public, thank you!

  • Is lease-up taking (a lot) longer now that the recession-induced backlog has been worked through?
  • Are these projects below/at/above the expected $/sf rental-rate that the projects were financed under?
  • Are there any sub-markets that have exceeded or failed to meet expectations to a significant degree?
  • Are these multi-family rental developers the same folks who will be the big players when multi-family owner-occupied projects finally start?
I PM'd you.

And Gainesville and Athens are just as connected to Atlanta as those are. In fact, they are closer than some of the others. There is no possible way that Hall county is *NOT* connected to Atlanta. Athens has some independence, but it isn't large enough to not get pulled into the orbit of the larger conurbation.

Athens is smaller than Sandy Springs.

I like the darker elements in the newer design, they add some nice contrast.

Regarding Hanover West Peachtree, how many years can DensGlass be exposed to the elements before it's compromised? Georgia-Pacific says the max is twelve months. I wonder if that's going to cause any problems later on.

Walking around noticed a few things: what's going on behind Broadstone at 6th? Heavy machinery on a small lot. Also, looks like 195 13th is gearing up. Also, are there plans to improve the pedestrian experience on Piedmont? Horrible sidewalks, esp at 10th, which is a major intersection.

There are plans to turn Piedmont into a complete street which would improve pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure if I'm not mistaken.

Funny timing, I was just getting ready to upload some pictures on this. I recall hearing rumors of townhomes going in this spot.

Here's a couple photos I took a few weeks ago (pardon the small image size, not sure why the image hosting site is resizing it that way):

Here's an image I took today with the building demolished:
