yeah, they've been working on it on and off since the actual groundbreaking. They just seem to be taking their sweet ass time. Or maybe we're all just so sick of the delays this project has had for the last 10 years that it just seems like the construction is taking forever.

Also, how do we get this thing put up on the American highrise construction list?

Nice hole. Looks like it's ready for somebody to build a house.

Is that as deep as the hole is going to get? Doesn't seem very deep for a 22-story tower.

Maybe when the weather warms up a bit we'll see some action? Maybe?

What's with the new dirt? Did they really decide to go with the 22 feet and are now in the process of filling it back in?

When you simply look at the pictures the whole doesn't seem that deep until you see the one with somebody standing in it.

Future Mayor, that is not new dirt. Its dirt that has been dug out around the base. It just looks like it is new dirt because it has been buried down in the ground with moisture, and finally has been dug up.

Looking at those last photos of the 222 South Main, I'm starting to think that crews are now working faster on the project. When I look at the picture of the hole and seeing the crews standing in it, it gives me a good idea of just how deep that hole really is. I think within the next few months we could see a base of a crane on that site as well.

drove by the site today on my way to lunch at carls jr. They have signs up now saying what is coming to the site, with a rendering. I dont know if the renderings have been there for awhile, but today was the first day I noticed them. Also the hole keeps on getting bigger, and it looked like more rebar was starting to take shape.

Anyone want to take a photo update? I work downtown, but always forget my camera on days that I have spare time. lol.
