In what hospital were you born?

Post a pic of the hospital where you came into this world.

I'll start...

Saint Vincent Hospital - Erie, Pennsylvania
Founded by Sisters of Saint Joseph in 1875 (now a part of the Allegheny Health/Highmark BCBS conglomerate)

^ park ridge in the house. how old were you when you left chicagoland?

i was born here, but the fancy brick entrance structure out front wasn't there in the '70s.

i currently live 7 miles almost due south of my birth hospital.

Family moved out west when I was 4. My family has been slowly bleeding out of Illinois since the 1970's to California, Las Vegas and Arizona. A couple ended up down in Dallas, and one in NYC

As of this writing only a couple of Cousins remain in the old country.

Of course we weren't there for very long, my whole family moved from Poland between the wars. Somebody obviously saw the writing on the wall

I was born at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, a northern suburb of Detroit. The hospital was opened in 1955. They have a few hospitals around metro Detroit now.

Hutzel Women's Hospital, Detroit, MI

Detroit 1701

Formed in 1868 as a hospital for unwed mothers, it was given a formal name in 1965 named after locally prominent social worker Eleanore Hutzel. It's now home to a branch of the National Institute of Health (NIH). It's directly connected to neighboring Harper University Hospital, a teaching hospital organized in 1863. These are all part of the eight-hospital/institute Detroit Medical Center.
