About time the internal structure started going in, these columns have been up here for like a month now. I'm hoping that was simply the result of a bout of bad whether and not them slowing down (if anything I think they'd be speeding up a bit).

This was the most touching and inspiring video about the rebuilding that I've seen in a long while, thanks a lot for sharing!

When these columns went up the intire 93rd floor still had to be built out. These ( 93M and 100) went up earlier than we are used to seeing so it may seem the pace has been slow when in fact it has been moving quickly. Also remember that up to 93M are mechanical floors so there is a lot more to them than a typical floor.

Local 9/11 Family Member Reacts to Freedom Tower

Apr 12, 2012

Quote:
The Freedom Tower at One World Trade Center in New York City is now 100 stories tall. In a couple of weeks the height will surpass that of the Empire State Building's roof. However, a local man who lost his sister in the attacks on the World Trade Center wishes there would have been two, taller towers.

Yesterday (Thursday, April 12), I took the PATH train across the river after work and took a bunch of pictures (I was at Exchange Place in Jersey City). Here are the best shots:

Another pic I took last Sunday:
From this angle, you can see all of Lower Manhattan's tallest! Look at the Woolworth's reflection in WTC 7's curtain wall! Hell Yeah!
