Great thread, very atmospheric and interesting photos of a truly fascinating, exhausting, amazing city.

A wonderfully different kind of tour. Haven't been there since 1986. Don't know if I could handle it today as I have COPD, and with the air quality and altitude, don't know if I want to risk it. I love all of Mexico, Central and South America.

So do it. It is quite affordable. Although it is definitely a necessity to speak SOME Spanish....

Thank you! Yes, the air quality is an issue. Moreso than that, if you have trouble breathing, the altitude plays a bigger role. The whole city starts a mile and a half up, and only gets higher.
