That page works, it's the one with the live action webcam that is broken.

http://ibeamsystems.com/demo/ Click on On-site HD camera was a video stream. You could gain control of the camera, get better angles, zoom in etc... It has been broken for a couple weeks now.

And blue makes sense because...why?

I prefer the original, but maybe there's more to the new design, so I'll keep an open mind.

Ooooooh.

The webcam isn't doing it justice. The blue light is more subtle than that. So far from up close I think it's sharp looking. When the fins are added the blue will be better connected to the rest of the building. Still bummed they're not going with the glass. Feels like a missed opportunity.

This is pretty awesome. You can watch time laps videos of 14 months of photos from different places around boise.

Sawtooth, Great pictures again, of course. The last one looking up into the sky with the Well's Fargo & Zion's Bank angles is simply brilliant I must say!

IMO the Zion's Bank building is a beautiful addition to Boise and the skyline. The saga of the hole is ended. I think it will spark more good things for Boise and Gardner seems like a great believer in the Boise and the surrounding area.

For the spire, it would have been best to continue with the glass but I suspect that glass was custom made and would have been very costly to make just a few more panes. I think the best feature is the blue glass corner rising up to the spire. Additional blue on the NW corner of the building (a secondary blue column of lesser statue might have been a nice touch to add a little bling from the north view.

It's still an "A" in my gradebook.

I forgot Flatbread is moving into the new tower "food court". Good to see that of all of the new restaurants are local except for Ruth's Chris. I believe Boise based Flatbread now has locations in Bend and SLC.

Cam pic 1-15-14 of partial unveiling of new paint job. It seems to match the glass color perfectly:
