Atlanta: Midtown

New photos added 8/4/2010...on page 3.

Following is a collection of some of my photos of Midtown. I've hiked several enjoyable miles to come up with these shots and I hope you enjoy them. You'll probably notice that I don't really care for people shots...my main focus is the architecture.

From Piedmont Park

Pano taken from Buckhead. Atlantic Station is most of the construction on the right.

Great pics! Thanks. I'm visiting Atlanta in summer of 2009. It'll be my first time in the US. Can't wait...

WOW! Great photos. A couple of them looking scarily similar to ones I took from my trip back in January. Just goes to show how nice Midtown Atlanta is and how much there is to appreciate. There were too many good pictures to pick out a favorite, but, for whatever reason, I really like this one:

Nice shots, man. I went through Midtown late Monday afternoon and took a lot of photos. Most of them didn't turn out as nice as yours.

Beautiful buildings.

Your photos are really crisp - you must have a nice lens.

Best Midtown Atlanta thread I've ever seen

Congrats to GA Tech for beating the Canes last night. I'm not a big fan of Florida college football teams

The older shot from 1180 Peachtree is my favorite. Such a cool pic.

Thanks again for all the comments!

Here's a shot of the aftermath of the Peachtree Road Race (held every July 4th).

I love your shots in this thread. I love how you capture the intricacies of some the architecture and your artistic eye.

For instance, I like how you in this picture frame the One Atlantic Center (IBM Tower) by using the architecture of another building.

Great thread!
