My city supposedly getting a Libeskind designed tower, construction commencing in the coming months. Thank goodness it isn't something this outrageous. This design doesn't strike me as organic looking, but more like warped plastic that was in the microwave for too long.

If you'll allow the incursion of a lurker, I have to say...

...no sir, I don't like it. Kinda ugly & goofy-looking, IMHO. Maybe it's just me.

I think that maybe one of those towers inserted into a dense existing streetscape with good ground level retail connections would be fantastic. At this scale, I don't like it. Totally out of context, totally inwardly focused, and totally lacking in diversity. Suburbia-writ-high.

Iffy, but Libeskind has a tendency of having his buildings look better in real life than on renders, so we'll see with this one.
