High traffic congestion problem normally happen in high-density city. Taiwan government is planning green-tax and energy-tax now. It may be reduce number of vechile. But I still think this problem will continue happen in the future.

^ the funny thing is that there is already a lot of people without cars in Taipei and they use the public transit!

Great to hear some incentives from the government!

in addition, the bus terminal will consolidate all the stops that use to populate the sidewalk surrounding taipei main station. this should do wonders to free up congestion. after phase 2 is complete, we should see a marked decrease in vehicular traffic, especially the popular bus services to i-lan, CKS Airport, and Hualien being replaced by rail.

Good news, the developers has expanded the site with other landlords around the site.
The site is more than 3000 square meter, much bigger than original 1000 square meter.
The building in this rendering is based on the 1000 suqare meter site, so this project really has good chance to have 200m+ height. (The floor area ratio is 800%)
