The Permanent - A select heritage event venue, 330 West Pender St. Vancouver

I had no idea such an architectural gem was sitting behind this facade on West Pender Street in downtown Vancouver. I took these pics below a few days ago and then starting reading up on the place. It has a fascinating history and has been lovingly and painstakingly restored to it's former glory. I really hope I can go to an event there sometime just to see the interior.

Very cool. I hope venue rental is enough to help them pay their way. I assume the owners are the same ones who restored the commercial block next door?

No, it's not the owners who restored the hotel next door.

I'm still a kid at heart. The first thing that popped into my head was - this would be an awesome space for a rave party (lol).
