i like both proposals, but proposal b is probably better in taiwan's rainy/polluted environment as there's less details in the buildings = easier to clean/maintain.

i also like the third tower in proposal a. will that be in proposal b as well? so will they definitely build this complex?

I doubt that there will be artist and activist against current proposal due to it is so close to Hua Shan 1914.

I expect local artist and cultural workers at Hua Shan 1914 will form ally to against current proposal because it is too hight that it is possible to damage current urban landscape surrounded Hua Shan 1914. Hua Shan 1914 is sensitive area in my point of view.

k. i can understand their viewpoint. hope there will be no conflict and they can just build it asap. wish they can build it in banqiao area or areas that already have high-rises.

I am not optimistic. It is redevelopment project which involve a lot of interested parties, and you get another interest group.
