what interesting off the beaten path place to see -- the cliff shots are spectacular.


did you see any tasmanian devils?

i'm intrigued by the older vernacular to be found in australia/nz...it's a funny mashup between like scotland and tin-roof frontier.

^ i don't think those are original -- it kind of looks like the older structures like that were all re-tin-roofed around the same time.

perhaps so, but metal roofs seem very, very common on all kinds of structures there. it's particularly funny to see them on old world architecture.
