Southwest Cities Tour: The Majors

So I've lived in the southwest for a couple of years now and have visited nearly all of the major cities in the region. There are really only five - Phoenix, Tucson, El Paso, Albuquerque, and Las Vegas. I've not yet visited Las Vegas (it's the farthest from me here in Albuquerque, and I'm sure many would question whether it's culturally or demographically southwestern), but I've made it to the rest, as well as a large number of smaller cities throughout the region. This thread though, will only focus on the larger ones - nothing in-depth, just a few photos from each. Enjoy!

We'll start with El Paso:

Actually part of Ciudad Juarez:

Phoenix:

Albuquerque:

Tucson:

Goodbye and thanks for viewing

Nice pictures. I like that you concentrated on some of the southwestern architecture, whether modern or traditional. The Tucson pictures are particularly nice.

You're going to be a future resident of Burque?

Let me know when you are in the neighborhood!

Hopefully. I'm getting interviews here and there and I'm heading out for a job fair in mid-October (very quick trip). At some point, I'd like to possibly attend UNM's law school.

I don't want to leave the Southwest, but I need a bigger city than Flagstaff, and preferably one that's not in Arizona. ABQ's only a five hour drive east on I-40.

El Paso is criminally underrated.

This will all look better when the midwest is flashfrozen. El Paso is a cutie, though. Albuquerque is in a storied landscape, to be sure.

Short, but, sweet. Other than Phoenix and Las Vegas, I haven't visited much of the Southwest other than a drive through. Definitely an interesting region. Thanks!
