The New York skyline is seen from a number of angles, most often not the ones we generally think of. This building will matter more than others because it will be the most visible. As is currently planned, the apex doesn't do this city or it's skyline justice. But it will be what it will be. It will be thrown into the mix same as the others. It just should have been a better representation of a skyline defining tower in New York.
BRAVO!!! I've been reading Ur post for a while. 1 of Ur best.

I say top-out by Memorial Day at the latest.
Memorial Day in what year?

For the people worrying about the lack of sun in the park, the shadows these towers will bring...

I still predict that blank wall will be covered, similar to what was done with 3 Manhattan West.

for some reason I thought the cantilever was suppose to be some staggering distance, like 20 feet. What these photos show doesn't look like such a big deal. Is there more to come?

It looks like there's a lot more yellow formwork up top now, right?

Yes this is pretty new. Within the last few weeks. Tough to tell if they are going to move this upwards in a significant way or if they are working part time. j

Finally it looks like there's some progress, not a ton, but better than nothing.

And to think that in some time, we'll look back at these pictures of this building as a small slab of concrete while we look at it as part of the skyline as a greater hole... time flies...
