I love that alley. Me and my buddies all dressed up in suits and ties and got a senior picture taken in front of some graffiti in that alley around the time we were graduating high school. That was 13 years ago and I still have that picture hanging on my wall.

The east side behind the Hilton on West Temple in the mid-block walkway, which runs between the Hilton and the American Towers.

I'm just good at recognizing patterns. I didn't even know where those benches were, but I knew I'd seen that darker base with the lighter material on top with the lines etched into it around the border. So, I googled and figured it out.

I used to work in the northwest office building complex on that block ten years ago. The plaza is nothing more than solid concrete. Unless it's changed since then...

No, nothing has changed. It's a very uninviting space. I think a bar or club should open up in the back building of that little office mix, the building directly north of the American Towers North Tower. I think a bar/club would bring people back there, and would activate the midblock connection more. Or if not in the back building than a restaurant least in the east building where Red Door but on the Plaza side, utilizing a large chunk of the plaza for outdoor dinning.
