MACC versus Rainey Street

Has it really come to this? I ride by this facility 3 times a week and I can tell you it is extremely underutilized, both the building and the parking. The city has enough rules that will protect MACC and users who want to access it, so I can't see the need for any more restrictions.

As in all politics the real reason for objecting is not spoken. In this case I would venture to guess that the changing demographics of this area and the resentment/envy that that produces are the real reasons.
