SimCity-like Games?

I don't know how many people have played this, but I found it to be a pretty entertaining game, and very educational, like Civilization.

CivCity Rome

City Life

It's different, I'll give you that. It doesn't feel quite like Sim City, but I did enjoy it. My criticism comes from the architecture on some of the buildings... bleh. The small amount of city buildings is also a bit annoying. You'll have 4 cookie cutter buildings all lined up next to eachother...bleh.

The best thing about the game? The fact that you can zoom into it at "walk level", and see your city's skyline. It reminds me of when I use to play Sim Copter in my SimCity 2000 cities.

Cybernations is a free online game that's a little bit like SimCity in the sense that it's a nation simulator. But it's very light on the graphics. If you check it out, also check out an alliance of SSP folks who play the game (in my sig).

http://www.zanpo.com

I've found that Zanpo is like a Simcity game, but has a greater focus on the building part. Some cities are better than others, I assure you.

Miniville is also like Simcity, but the growth depends on how many people visit your page.

miniville is kind of silly, as you have almost no control over your city...

I started one a couple of weeks ago when it came up in skybar over on SSC.

link is in my sig below...
