NHL Playoffs 2016

For those of us who will still be following the playoffs despite the lack of Canadian representation, there is still life in the hockey world. So who is it you want to win? Who is it you expect to win? Who are you planning to hate on?

St Louis for me. 45 years of playoff misery is why.

Washington or St Louis. I would still be happy with any team that hasn't won it before. If it's a team that has won it, then go Rangers!

St. Louis #1 for me. It's time they won, and there are a couple of ex-Moncton Wildcats in their organization.

Washington would be good too. Ovechkin deserves a ring, and DC is like a second home for me in the States, I've been there multiple times.

Washington for me. I've been cheering for them since they went to the finals against Detroit.

St. Louis is a close second.

Washington vs St. Louis would be a great final.

Just cast my vote for St. Louis.

Though I generally wait until there are only a handful of teams left to pick a favorite.

Anyone but Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, Winnipeg or Edmonton....oh wait, those teams aren't in it

I'm with most people, either St Louis or Washington for obvious reasons.

San Jose or Minnie would be good too. San Jose has been chokers over the years and when they haven't been choking, they were making it to the conference finals 3 times in 6 years (2004 to 2010), but never to the big show. Minnesota has a great fan base, and it would be nice.

Even Philly, everyone hates them, but after winning two cups in a row, they have been to the final 6 straight times now without a win.

Die-hard Caps fan since 92. Never known anything but heartbreak from this team. Want to say it changes this year, but I'll believe it when I see it.

St Louis.

Had a cousin who had a cup of coffee with the Blues in the early 90's and have always had a soft spot for them.

Love this guy's posts.

Nice to see St Louis take game one. Chicago will be a tough test for them. Let's hope Washington doesn't choke. My dream final would be Washington and St Louis, then I would be happy with the outcome no matter what.

So Washington and St Louis both start off with a win. Same for San Jose, though I doubt they will get far even if they can beat the Kings.

Washington looked good. If they can play like they did last night they can do it.

I'm happy to see St Louis and Washington ahead in their series. Even happier to see Anaheim lose the first two at home. Go Nashville!
