I couldn't find the restoration thread so figured I'd just drop this in here. The former Marty Millionaire Building's new exterior is almost complete. This will really elevate this corner along with a few mid rise proposals nearby.

^Ye-ah.

Marty Millionaires doesn't look too bad. I don't care for the aluminum spandrel. It's really dented too.

^ I grudgingly admit that it looks decent, but that gold was something special.

Yah I will miss it as well. I was at the Citadel Theater last week and had a chance to look at Scotia Place. The gold panels as much as I loved them were miss matched and fading. We still have one full gold building but it is not a stand out. The new ones will make for a much more energy efficient building. Add that to all the other Mechanical Upgrades they are doing should carry this building well into the future.

That looks ill-advised. I remember when it was brand new. It always looked beautiful in the evening light.

The reclad of Fenwick Tower in Halifax is well underway. Here is a link to the thread - http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/show...175869&page=29

Below is a rendering on how it should look when complete. I think that Fenwick tower has a unique massing for a residential tower. Hopefully with the reclad, it will no longer be considered to be an eyesore.

The new name for Fenwick Tower will be the Vuze although I think a catchier name would be Darth Vader Tower.

Reclad-Rebuild

Sutton Place-Britt Condo. Taking a while, might have just built a new building.
