1ajs: very interesting region, I like how you have your big cities spread out through it. Playing with the terraformer is always fun to do.

dleung: CitiesXL is a very good game as well. It's more plopped based and I do like the bigger maps. I played it for about four years and really enjoyed it as much as Sim City 4 especially how you can walk around your city like a pedestrian. Unfortunately it was becoming a strain on my computer and I had to let it go. I only have a laptop now and don't have to room to install both games.

haljackey: Your youtube videos are what made me get back into Simcity. I'm only on part 80 with your videos right now. You're alot better with the nam then I am, I can't even figure out how to make a bridge for a six lane avenue yet. I might try to create some RHWs on my next region.

Here's the next city on the list, Ramsey with a population of 367,000.

Weather has been horrible the last couple of days so I stayed in and made the city of Bellevue with a population of 324,050.
Downtown Bellevue

Bellevue's central business district built around a highway and a mall with it's biggest building at the intersection of two 6 lane avenues. Sounds familar doesn't it.

This area...

Turns into this.

Can you download pre-made/terraformed regions online? I enjoy terraforming regions but I just don't have the time anymore. I also only use about 4 mods which ones do you guys recommend for the best experience? Thanks.

I used to download regions from simtropolis' STEX; there's a lot of custom content on there to check out.

ST Exchange on Simtropolis has lots of great real world and fictional regions. Just make sure you have SC4 Mapper to convert the files to Sim City 4 regions or you will just get flat terrain when loading them.

So here's some small cities I've been working on.
Borealis population 38,700.

Dover population 20,300.

Enderton population 51,800.

Lake Luna population 80,200.

Working on the downtown core for the region. Recreating the Toronto street grid from the Waterfront to Gerrard and Spadina to Sherbourne with Yorkville added.

Unfortunately there aren't many Toronto buildings so I'm improvising.

Finished working on the two new regions.
These are Thunder Bay and Sault Ste. Marie in Northern Ontario.
I addded an extra river in the Thunder Bay region which I will use the island for a Manhattan style skyline.

Looks great, I do admit that these simulation games do take up a lot of your spare time.

Started a new region that will have one half of it as a big metropolitan area and the other half will be rural farmland with some towns and small cities scattered about.
This is the first small city I created called Laird with a population of 22,600.

Laird Agricultural Fairgrounds.

Laird Golf & Country Club.

Agricultural land surrounding the town of Laird.
