I'm not a huge fan of paying a total of more than $750 in increase city taxes over the next ten years to help pay for the stadium. We all know the stadium mill rate increases over the next decade aren't 't going to magically disappear when the city has paid their share of the stadium funding. At that point the city will be raking in probably > $10,000,000 a year in extra tax revenue due to stadium mill rate increases all for providing taxpayers with nothing.
I wasn't totally against the city paying some of the costs, but the taxpayers are paying more than we should have. This year the city is asking for a 4.18% increase in the mill rate. 0.45% of that is for the stadium.
