Looks like the panels are actually green?

I quite like the looks of this project. These are definitely some of the better looking towers outside of downtown, and better looking than a number of the downtown towers too.

I like the look of the coloured patterned panels too. They add a bit more colour than the typical Vancouver tower, but they're more subtle and classy than how colour is added in some other projects, like Spectrum, which comes to mind as I used to live there.

Agreed, these turned out really well. I don't love the little overhangs at the top but all in all this development turned out very well and certainly exceeded my expectations.

Taken Dec 30th by City of Rain @ SkyRise cities.

I think the metal panels are gray and shades of green?
(all of the blue is protective film)

Thanks.

All the protective wrapping has been removed now. It has actually turned out quite true to the renderings.

Doesn't look half bad! If that's retail on the ground floor than I'll be much happier with the project. Even then, the towers are a fair design. Nothing conservative, but not architecturally amazing.

(EDIT, ah, there is! This is a swell project all around)

Be happy, as those are indeed retail units on the ground floor.

However sadly retail is only confined to the intersection currently, as those towers behind W2 condos have no retail., which, in my opinion, is kinda silly.

I'm usually horrified when Vancouver projects attempt to use "colour", but this one turned out pretty ok.

Seriously?
So the randomness of green and blue aluminum panels is permanent?
I just thought the blue was still plastic wrap.

What's going on just north of this? Those old wooden town homes are all boarded up now

The shot from the Fraser River makes all the towers (except for the office building) look the same. Good thing they have varying heights!
