A lot of the exterior cladding has gone on, and I think they have it almost 2/3 up. Definately topped out now too.

This building seems to have more overall character than Phase 1 did...

Not difficult to do when you're starting with a pretty bland buildng!

So, based on the pics by southfacing, what empty lots/parking lots do you see being the next ones to have mid-high rises go up on them next?

wouldn't it be more effective to base your prediction on development applications to the City?

Well Dworkin Furs was sold so it'll probably be that parking lot next, but I'd like to see someone fit another building the size of Galleria 2 (or maybe a bit taller) in the parking lot behind CP1 and CP2.

Metro and LCBO across Rideau, on prime location, maybe next to be replaced (?) by some condo or office towers.

Dworkin Furs, directly across the street is probably next-next, but you're right, sooner or later that Metro will relocate to the podium of a new tower and be replaced (or it'll close if another grocery store beats them to it -- it's not a very efficient store, and the land should be worth a small fortune, especially if you also owned the small parking lot on Cumberland, which would be harder to develop on its own).

I don't know if I like the second one as much, especially as they used a much lighter (yellower) brick than the first.

Still nearly 50 units up for grabs!

Market must be really slow.

Was at the sales centre last weekend and went to tour some of their 1 bedrooms available...

They're nice but expensive.. They aren't much larger than any other new condo around town but their prices were a bit higher (around 300K for a 1 bed). In a slow market you'd think they would lower their prices a bit or have special offers

Especially when they are competing with re-sales in other modern buildings, the prices of which have been slowly falling for over a year now.

Just got an email from Richcraft advertisting the last 12 units for this project.

$10K cash discount with immediate closing. Granite counters throughout, stainless steel appliances and storage lockers included.

From $328K.

Are there still new units in this building and if so are they fully finished units or shells? I helped with the first one but wasn't involved with the second - kind of curious.
