Isn't Block 39 supposed to be 23 stories? And somewhere I thought someone referred to 'The Classic' as 'The Metropolitan'. No? Also, I think the 18th/Jefferson project is about to start construction (where did I hear this?). The permit process is active, anyway.

Anyway, nice, extensive list.

An impressive list. Enough projects that we should see pictures of from forumers.

All these are in the serious development phase.

Block 39 (SoWa) - Between SW Bond and Moody on Gaines St
a 23-story, 226-foot high tower located on a 5- story podium occupying the full block site. Total of 309
apartments, ground floor retail, and 3 1/2 levels of above
grade parking

1215 NW Everett Street - 1/4 block in the Pearl.
15-story, concrete frame structure, with glass curtain wall.
The first floor retail. Floors 2 through 15 will be 57 condos. 4 levels of underground parking. This project will be pursuing a LEED gold rating by exploring ground source heating and cooling, solar
panels, eco roof, rain water reuse, grey water reuse, etc.

887 NE 102nd Avenue and NE Pacific (Gateway) - 4-story retail and office building - This is not part of the Gateway Transit Center redvelopment.

The Blitz Haus - ?? - Saw an ad for it in the paper the other day. The rendering looked like an old single story warehouse with new condos on top. Maybe 5-8 storys probably somewhere in the Pearl by the Brewery Blocks.

Portland Buildings List

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I've been trying to add some of the new construction into the already established list and tried to research some of the holes in data. I'm still far from finished as you can see. But here is my living list of Portland buildings. Please let me know if I have any duplicates or wrong information.

Isn't there a new OHSU bioscience building that is just being completed up on the hill?

Re: OHSU Biomed Building

Yes, that project is finishing up this month. I didn't include it on the list as it was under 10 stories, but with the height per floor ratio of hospitals, I probably should reconsider. Plus, I think it has 4-5 floors of daylight basement off the North side of the hill. It is a project for my company, but not one of mine.

the building looked HUGE and tall from the Ross Island Bridge, and I really like the left wall (from the bridge) that slants inward. Is this the building the tram is going to be attached to?

^ The biomed Building that we worked on is the one on the North side of the Hill, tucked behind the Doctor's Pavillion from your vantage point coming across the RI Bridge. The Blue/Green building with the cantilevered edge is the Patient Care Facility. That one is also about 8 floors above the road and almost 8 below down the hillside. And yes, this is the one that the platform will be attached to. I agree it is a great addition to the OHSU campus.
