This location was Vranich's first major downtown project. First, it was a hotel; he sold it, turned it into a retirement home, and now perhaps a new tallest for Hamilton.

At least right downtown. The one on Pier 8 and perhaps one of the Frances Triplets may still be taller.

Makes me wonder if Bay would've been a good choice for an LRT station, with student residences here as well.
