Ever a Portland hang out/meet up?

So do you guys EVER organize a meet up or hang out like other regions that SSP has many members of?

I have memories back east of the 30+ people meeting in Pittsburgh, Columbus, Toronto, Chicago.. But here I've never heard anyone slightly interested in touring or meeting.

Anywho, I'm not suggesting we have a 30 member meet, but do any of you want to do a tour some weekend?

I'm off normal weekends so would be up for an afternoon meet or whatever if anyone is interested.

Me? Coordinate? I only suggest.

Although I did suggest a Toronto meet in 2006, didn't show up, and it ended up being one of the biggest and best yet. LOL

But if I get some venue ideas and tour possibilities up for grabs, I'll send out a message. I'm not sure we need to walk the entire city from top to bottom, but certainly a drink (whether coffee/tea or alcohol I don't care) and a small tour wouldn't be bad.

I'm down, assuming it works with my schedule... weekends are usually pretty good for me, too.

Edit: ^ didn't mean to blow off the request for places to meet... I'm pretty new here, so I don't know of too many places other than a couple pubs I've been to in the Pearl (Rogue, Bridgeport, etc).

My idea: We should all meet up at OHSU, ride the Tram, tour SoWa, take the streetcar to the Pearl (we can hop off in the West End for some pics) and decide if those that came want lunch or coffee -- or some beers later in the afternoon for the over 21 folks...
