This quote is from Curbed on February 10.

Assuming the market holds steady, the Chad Oppenheim and Warner Summers Architecture-designed apartment building could break ground in the coming months. The office could lag behind, depending on the saturation of similar office space.

Love this! Music Midtown was in that green space 😊

The changes in Midtown have truly been phenomenal and very rapid.

Here's what it looked like when the first building at Colony Square went up in the early 1970s. Many claimed it was impossible for a project "that far out" to survive, and in fact it did go into bankruptcy.

That's a possibility. That would make more sense. Must be nice!

On Underground, I sincerely doubt WRS will be able to get funding. We'll see. But maybe the German group is still lurking offstage.

Different area of Midtown, but Ga Tech just bought a 1.8 acre parcel for $20 million between W. Peachtree and Spring St.

But don't you doubt that every development will happen as a general rule?

Crane almost erected for northside medical building this morning.

880 Alexan should get crane soon too. They've had crane base setup for about a week

Peachtree bridge arches are also being erected

That parcel has a non-descriptive one story building. I wonder if they will ever make a deal with the city to extend 11th street through their property. Might be kind of hard unless they buy neighboring properties and combine into a larger parcel.

SAP planning permit filed for a "98 unit multi-family residential development" by Perennial Properties at 1791 Piedmont. This is just south of Fat Matt's. Currently it's the Oak Knoll Apartment Homes. They originally proposed a 180-unit 6-story apartment complex for this site.

Just read that Atlanta is getting its first Bareburger at 715 Peachtree. They're headquartered near me in Astoria, Queens. Damn I love that place. It's our go-to indulgence.

I have to admit that I haven't had Yeah!Burger but I will say that Bareburger exploded in just a few short years and now have restaurants around the world, so they are doing something right. They have unusual choices like bison and ostrich (depending on the location), amazing sliders, and their onion rings are my downfall. They also source locally and organic.
