Tuscaloosa, Alabama | Short-lived Snowfall

It snowed today and I honestly didn't believe it was going to happen until it started around noon which is a few hours later than the forecast predicted. My trusty Nikon has been out of service lately due to battery and charger issues, so these are from my iPhone. I would have preferred to take them with the Nikon but this is better than nothing since we don't see Alabama on the forum often.

Also class was cancelled from this minor of a snowfall event. I'm sure all the upper Midwesterners and New Englanders will be amused.

Music in honor of the snow day.

Very classy penis snowman.

Aaaaaaaand by the time I was done walking around most of it had already finished melting.

HOPE Y'ALL DONE ENJOYED 'EM.

You're right, we don't get enough Alabama on here. Tuscaloosa looks so much better than when I was there last. Thanks!

Nice pics, cityscapes! Thanks for sharing.

Is it normal snow in Tuscaloosa? Is it normal snow in Alabama?

I´ve liked the shots of the houses with the ground covered by snow. We don´t see Alabama frequently on SSP forum, and I like what you´ve shown of Tuscaloosa. I hope your Nikon is ready for next snowfall and to post more pics of Alabama.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain!

Nice. I got a decent gyro in downtown Tuscaloosa last fall. That's more snow than we've had in this part of New Jersey, sadly.

It's normal in the southeastern US, but rare. Probably every couple of years.

You've gotta love a southern snow fall.

Nice set.

Thanks for the answer, Thundertubs.

Then, like in Madrid, every couple of years or more.

Thanks for posting those great photos. Tuscaloosa is one of the only major Alabama cities I have not been to. Keep up the good work
