^Correct. Structural integrity is far from compromised. Per Earthcam, workers are back on the "roof" and new scaffolding is being erected today

Yes, workers are currently erecting scaffolding to inspect core shear walls, and once that's done, it will be used for next floor forms.

This tower has one of the most interesting designs. I like it better than the main towers in Hudson Yards, it has more character in the facade.

Agreed, but I still say it reminds me of New York Times building...

I would say 30 Hudson yards has a much more interesting design. How many towers have a slanted side almost all the way up? Not to mention an hanging observation deck. I like 3wtc, but it is fairly conservative. Not quite as much as 4, but more so than 1 and much more than 2.

2 WTC will definitely be the crown jewel of the site. The amount of detail on the facade and that roof, amazing.

I agree. 30 Hudson Yards is definitely the most interesting massing, but not interesting details/facade.

Yeah, that may be true. The cross bracing on 3 is going to look great. I just wish that they had not deleted it from the main facade. Oh well. I am very excited to see this one go up. They are saving the best for last with 2 though.

There's progress up on the core. Workers have been installing additional scaffolding and inspecting rebar.

That crane should be going up soon. Thanks for the updates. Excited about this tower. It will look great on the skyline. Almost needed.

They are currently using one of those huge bay cranes to lift things up onto the "roof".

We are ever closer to a new completed WTC. It has been a long time but the skyline is also close to being filled up.

Although 2WTC is, geometrically speaking, the true keystone of the complex, a completed 3WTC will be the first element to truly give the site a sense of balance and cohesion. After all, 1WTC and 4WTC couldn't be placed farther apart; 5WTC and 7WTC serve as bookends.
