Some shots of the LA's downtown buildings

Sorry guys...nothing TOO interesting here, and definitely not a professional at taking pictures. But I was in downtown last week and found this spot of the skyline that I usually don't see pictures from (I usually see pictures from angles where there are a lot of gaps in the skyline) so I decided to snap a few. Yea, the electrical lines I could do away with.

I was totally over that way a few weeks ago taking photos. Walked on the Fourth Street bridge over the L.A. River and never smelled so much urine in all my life.

That's from the very weird part of the not-exactly-Arts-District, not-really-Little-Tokyo area that is just east of Mura, Artisan, and Savoy, I believe. There are a few Japanese temples in the area, a lot of old factories, and lots of unimproved vacant lots -- in other words, watch this area in a few years.

I have a couple questions for LA forumers that may know about these, but

A) what's going to happen with the vacant lot that the LAPD headquarters was supposed to be constructed on? It's next to a Japanese temple.

B) what's that building being constructed in the photo? Last I was there it looked like a Gold Line support building.

C) What the hell is going to happen to Parker Center once the new headquarters is built?

These pics were taken on the corner of Vignes and Temple Streets. Right next to the Personnel Department Building. Yes, you exit the 101 at Los Angeles Street, right on Los Angeles Street, left on E. Temple Street...and there you go.
